Date: Tuesday 12 November
Purple Tuesday was created by disability organisation Purple to highlight the importance and needs of disabled consumers, both ethically and commercially. For the second year running, Eastgate Shopping Centre will take part in the initiative on Tuesday 12 November. We are happy to support this and will be taking practical actions to meet the needs of our disabled customers. As well as turning the centre purple; by changing lighting, staff clothing and the colour of our website, we are committed to doing what we can to help those with disabilities have a better shopping experience and as such all of our staff have been to disability awareness training and are now Disability Cofident Committed.
