Win £200 to Spend at Eastgate – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
This competition is promoted by Eastgate Shopping Centre, Management Suite, Southernhay, Basildon, Essex SS14 1AG.

2. Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
Employees of Eastgate Shopping Centre, their immediate families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter
To enter, participants must complete the official online entry form and provide:

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Postcode

  • A Valentine’s message to a loved one

Only one entry per person is permitted.

4. Competition Period
The competition opens on publication and closes at 8:00am on Monday 2nd March 2026.
Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

5. Winner Selection & Notification

  • One (1) winner will be selected from all valid entries.

  • The winner will be contacted by email on Monday 2nd March 2026.

  • If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, Eastgate Shopping Centre reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

6. The Prize

  • The prize is £200 to spend at Eastgate Shopping Centre, issued in the form of Eastgate retailer gift cards.

  • The winner may choose up to four (4) gift cards, selecting the retailers and the value split between them (up to a total of £200).

  • Gift cards must be redeemed at participating retailers within Eastgate Shopping Centre.

  • The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

7. Publicity & Use of Entries

  • By entering, participants agree that their submitted message may be shared on Eastgate Shopping Centre’s social media channels during the competition period.

  • The winner agrees that their entry, first name and prize details may be shared on Eastgate Shopping Centre’s social media platforms, website and email newsletters.

  • No additional compensation will be provided for such use.

8. Newsletter Subscription
By entering, participants agree to be added to the Eastgate Shopping Centre shopper newsletter database.
Entrants may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in email communications.

9. Data Protection
Personal data supplied will be used solely for:

  • Administering the competition

  • Contacting the winner

  • Adding entrants to the Eastgate Shopping Centre newsletter database

All data will be handled in accordance with Eastgate Shopping Centre’s Privacy Policy.

10. Disqualification
Eastgate Shopping Centre reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:

  • Does not comply with these Terms & Conditions

  • Contains false or misleading information

  • Attempts to tamper with or undermine the competition process

  • Eastgate Shopping Centre reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
