Summer of Superheroes at Eastgate Basildon!
Are you looking for the ultimate way to keep the kids entertained during the summer holidays without breaking the bank?
Adventure awaits at Eastgate, Basildon. This August, we are hosting a Summer of Superheroes, a month-long series of action-packed, interactive, and completely FREE family events.
Every Tuesday throughout August from 11am to 3pm, your little ones can train to become legendary protectors, meet their favourite characters, tackle exciting challenges, and follow themed trails around the centre.
We have a different superhero academy landing at Eastgate every week. Here is what’s on the mission file this August:
Week 1: The Web-Slinger Hero Academy
Tuesday 4th August | 11am – 3pm
Are your spidey-senses tingling? Kickstart the summer holidays with our web-slinging heroes! Kids can test their speed and balance and get up close with their favourite wall-crawlers.
Meet & Greet: Snap epic photos with legendary Web-Heroes.
The Hero Agility Course: Test your crawling, dodging, and jumping skills.
Plus: Action-packed superhero challenges and fun activities!
Week 2: Dark Knight Detective Academy
Tuesday 11th August | 11am – 3pm
Do you have what it takes to protect the streets? Gear up for mystery-solving and stealth training with the ultimate caped crusaders.
Meet & Greet: Meet and take photos with the iconic Caped Crusaders.
The Detective Zone: Put your logic and super-sleuth skills to the test.
Plus: High-energy challenges designed to test your inner hero.
Week 3: Shield Hero Training Academy
Tuesday 18th August | 11am – 3pm
Heroes, assemble! This week is all about teamwork, cosmic protection, and leadership training.
Meet & Greet: Meet and snap a photo with two iconic, star-spangled captains.
Shield Targets & Teamwork Games: Learn to aim like a pro and master the art of working together to save the day.
Plus: Cosmic challenges for heroes-in-training.
Week 4: Man of Steel Training Academy
Tuesday 25th August | 11am – 3pm
For our grand finale, put your strength, speed, and bravery to the test to see if you can graduate as an official Galactic Hero!
Meet & Greet: Meet and high-five our powerhouse superhero duo.
Strength & Survival Challenges: Take part in active, high-energy challenges to prove your power.
Plus: Interactive games and a celebration to wrap up an epic month of holiday fun.
Don’t forget to pick up your Superhero Passport at our very first event on Tuesday, 4th August. Collect a stamp at every academy event you attend throughout the month. Bring your stamped passport to our final event on Tuesday, 25th August, to collect your official Superhero Mask!
