How to Play

 

  • Search high and low across Eastgate Basildon to locate all 10 hidden letters.

 

  • Keep track of each letter you find to reveal the secret Halloween mystery word.

 

  • Submit your completed trail entry form at the Pumpkin Patch for your chance to win a spooktacular prize!

 

 

Terms and Conditions for the trail prize draw

 

  1. Entries to the prize draw are via the Eastgate trail sheets.
  2. The competition will be open for entries from 25th October 2026 to 31st October 2026. 
  3. The prize is a lucky dip from the Halloween cauldron at Eastgate. No cash alternative is available.
  4. To enter the competition, entrants must follow the instructions on the trail sheet.
  5. The winner will be contacted via the details they used to enter the competition.
  6. The winner must make contact and arrange to collect their prize from Eastgate within 7 days or risk forfeiting the prize. Postage and any other options are not permitted. 
  7. Prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred and must be redeemed at Eastgate.
  8. Employees of Eastgate and their relatives are not permitted to enter this competition.
  9. By entering the promotion, you accept these terms and conditions and agree to participate in any publicity associated with this promotion.
  10. If entrants fail to agree to these terms and conditions, they will be automatically excluded from the promotion.
  11. Details of the competition and prizes are correct at the time of publication but are subject to change without prior notice.
  12. The promoter and partners have arranged this competition in good faith and cannot accept liability in any matter relating to the prizes whatsoever.
  13. The winner must be willing to have their photo taken at Eastgate when collecting their prize.
  14. The entrant’s personal information may be used only by our staff internally for the purposes of the promotion and will not be passed on to any third parties other than where legally or contractually obliged.
  15. Prize winners will not be compromised by the publication of excessive personal information.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
  17. If any circumstances out of The Promoter’s control mean that the competition prize advertised is not available, The Promoter reserves the right to (without prior notice): (a) cancel the promotion; and/or (b) substitute the competition prize for another amount of lesser value.
