Terms and Conditions for the trail prize draw

Entries to the prize draw are via the Eastgate trail sheets.
The competition will be open for entries from 25th October 2026 to 31st October 2026.
The prize is a lucky dip from the Halloween cauldron at Eastgate. No cash alternative is available.
To enter the competition, entrants must follow the instructions on the trail sheet.
The winner will be contacted via the details they used to enter the competition.
The winner must make contact and arrange to collect their prize from Eastgate within 7 days or risk forfeiting the prize. Postage and any other options are not permitted.
Prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred and must be redeemed at Eastgate.
Employees of Eastgate and their relatives are not permitted to enter this competition.
By entering the promotion, you accept these terms and conditions and agree to participate in any publicity associated with this promotion.
If entrants fail to agree to these terms and conditions, they will be automatically excluded from the promotion.

This October, Eastgate is marking World Mental Health Day with a month focused on conversation, connection and community.

Eastgate’s Chatty Bench

Take a seat and start a conversation. Our new Chatty Bench will provide a welcoming place to pause, connect and chat, whether you’re catching up with someone you know or simply saying hello.

The bench forms part of Anchor’s Be Well campaign and will remain at Eastgate beyond October, creating a lasting space for conversation and connection.

Community Conversation Days

We’re bringing local community groups, charities and organisations into Eastgate to meet visitors, share information and showcase some of the support, activities and opportunities available across Basildon.

Driving Home

From 28th September to 10th October, Creative Basildon brings Driving Home to Eastgate.

Step inside a black cab for an immersive 20 minute documentary experience sharing the stories of five taxi drivers and exploring ideas of home, journeys and the places and people that connect us.
